This podcast was going to be called “Healthy gone wrong” because that’s literally what happened when I started obsessing over GMOs, Organic, Cleanses, Detox. Next thing I knew I was on the stress train.
You know what’s worse than processed food? Stress.
This is my story around food. What I learned from eating too healthy, how I started to heal my relationship with food and how you can do this as well.
We are never alone in our stories so I hope this inspires you or somebody you know. Becoming aware is the first step towards healing ourselves.

I’m guilty as charged of doing this and that’s why I was very excited to share this exercise. With social media on the rise, it seems impossible not to look around and say – Why not me? People seem happier, more successful, better parents, lovers, basically everybody has their shit together except you. But the reality is we have no idea of what goes on behind closed doors.
A girl I know became an Instagram celebrity with millions of followers and the fairytale life. Traveling the world, going to parties, fashion shows and marrying her childhood sweetheart. But you don’t get to see that she had a cold for almost 6 months because of being in airplanes so much or how she missed so many friends and family events or the sacrifices she had to make to be where she is at. You don’t get to hear the whole story.
That being said “Nobody can do a better job of being you than you” So if you plan on comparing, compare yourself do it against yourself. Think about where you were 5 years ago, 2 years ago and where you are now. As humans, our nature is to expand. We overcome things we thought we wouldn’t, we move forward and even though we might not be exactly where we want to be or where we think we should be if we pay attention we have grown so much in the process.
Shift your definition of success I will be talking about this more in another podcast but for now, you should know that the most important things in life cannot be measured. Aim for love, humility, compassion…
So to wrap out use this three tools to stop comparing yourself with others. Use social media less, remember what is really important in life and when you catch yourself comparing bring your attention back and compare yourself against the only person who has had your life, problems and joys. That’s the only fair game.
